ChordSwift is a simple software built by a worship leader for worship ministries mainly to avoid using paper especially when on stage. It’s a song database, set-list manager and electronic music stand that can be loaded on any Windows machine. Each band member can set it up on their individual laptop, connect it via a local network and share the same screen – mighty useful for rehearsals too apart from the worship service itself.
Here’s a brief feature list in the Lite version:
- Import and edit songs (lyrics and chords)- Create and run sets
- Run sets in part or song mode (verse by verse or complete song)
- Free updates for newer releases
- Foot Switch integration (page turner) via USB
- Customizable key assignments
- Transposing chords of the complete song or a selected part
- Backup your database
The professional edition (costs $6.99) has these additional features:
- Multi Screen/monitor outputs- Client Host connections on LAN – let the band see what you see without the need for additional licensing
- Audience Output – let the people see the lyrics and sing along
-On the fly transposing while running a swift
- ‘Unscheduled’ song selection – display a song that is not in the set
- Share (upload and import) songs to and from our server
- Print your Set/Schedules and songs
