Not all churches have huge budgets to spend on expensive professional media creation for their services or other ministry work. That’s why we keep looking out for low cost or free alternatives like the ones we’ve seen for images, videos and software in previous posts. In this post, we look at another cool free online Christian resource.
OpenResources.org is probably one of the best providers of free media for Church usage. Once you get past the simple registration process, you are allowed to access and download all available resources.
Available media include sermon audio, countdowns, promotional design graphics, documents and videos (openers, loops etc.) that can be fit into a broad variety of themes.
Materials are neatly arranged under categories like Biblical Themes, Family, Finance, Healing & Recovery,Hot Topics, Personal Stories, Relationships and Youth, thereby facilitating uncomplicated navigation throughout the available material.
The ministry only requests that whatever you download is “used in a non-commercial application in which the overall mission is to lead people to Christ. That’s absolutely it. And if a free gift with no strings attached seems too good to be true…well, isn’t that why we’re all doing what we’re doing anyway?”
So go ahead, add some jazz to your ministry work with modern media! Here’s the link: http://www.openresources.org
