Have you ever tried creating a PowerPoint presentation to project praise and worship song lyrics on screen? You type the songs, format the titles and lyrics, set backgrounds, adjust font size etc. slide after slide.
Then the next event comes along and the worship team wants a different set of songs....so you do it again: you type the songs, format the titles...right? Sure you can use slide presets, but that helps only so much.
Have you wished for an easier way to create slides? Like you simply click on a button and the presentation is automatically created, just like that?
If you have, then your wish is granted in 'PowerWorship', a small, add-on utility for MS-PowerPoint.
Once you download, install and open it, powerworship looks like this:
All you have to do is type the praise and worship songs in the middle pane, and 'Save' to get them added to the Song Library in the left pane.
Once you have fed in sufficient number of songs (this is a one time effort only), just select the songs in your worship set list and double-click on their titles so that they will appear in the center pane like “Amazing Grace” in the above screenshot.
Click on the 'Build' menu on top and then on 'Slide Show' and PowerWorship will create a PowerPoint presentation containing the songs you selected in seconds...yup, it's really that easy!
Don't like the background or want to tweak the fonts? No worries, use the 'format' menu to configure your preferred settings one-time and use the 'Build' menu to create your presentation again.
Or maybe you changed your set list? Simply select the song titles of the new set and create a fresh slideshow in seconds!
The songs you type continue to reside in your computer and you can keep adding new songs whenever you want to. You can thus create any number of lyric presentations using this utility without retyping lyrics.
