The best way to know our God is through His Word. It's therefore a no-brainer that we should have a time of daily reading/reflection/study of the Holy Bible. However, not all of us are gifted with sharp memory power to remember scripture verses easily. But that shouldn't stop us from memorizing Bible verses and making them a part of our daily lives. The Internet is here to help with tons of helpful resources.
The Walking Bible project is one such resource. Once you signup, it enables you to create your own memorization courses using the WalkingBible scripture songs, spoken word mp3 audio, photos and cartoons (over 900 verses available in both NIV and NKJV Bible translations).
Walking Bible allows you to rehearse a memorization course online or on your iPod (using the MP3’s, MP4’s of PDF flash cards). Using Christian music and images, Bible memorization becomes a fun activity - you can even challenge your friends with your course.
According to their website, "The WalkingBible team is made up of Christians from around the world: Australia, Sweden, Belarus, Great Britain. These people are bound by one idea: To make the bible a central part of people's daily lives and a major source of inspiration and enthusiasm."
