Though there are tons of chord resources online, some of which have been covered in previous posts, it's always useful to have an alternative method of working out song chords.
Chords Online! is an online harmony recognition service. Simply upload the MP3 of the song (maximum file size limit of 8 MB), provide an email ID and that's it. An automatic email will be sent confirming the song upload and then another one once the chords are mapped. Post the upload, it takes about 3 to 10 minutes to complete the entire process.
The confirmation email will contain a link to the uploaded file with a play button. Once played, the chords appear in sync with the song alongside. It does seem to map the chords with fair accuracy - inverted bass notes are ignored though.
Chords Online! provides a URL and embed code to the song and chords for further use. The service also provides a paid version to request for the chords to be re-worked/corrected manually by a human musician.
