I enjoy finding new ways of incorporating scripture into my life – for reading, studying, applying, praying, memorizing and so on. Apps like YouVersion, MyStudyBible, Bible.is, Examen.Me and many others have made the Bible super accessible so much so that I really don’t have an excuse to not have a Bible with me wherever I am! So it’s always a pleasure to discover another player that adds value to the way I engage with scripture.
This one’s called Go Tandem.
Go Tandem is built on the premise that daily engagement with the Bible is essential to keep growing spiritually. Created by “a group of researchers, artists, pastors, tech wizards and writers”, Go Tandem offers a personalized experience of walking with God’s Word daily and become the person God wants us to be.
To start a Go Tandem experience, we need to fill up a spiritual growth assessment questionnaire and choose topics of interest or struggle, based on which Go Tandem will send relevant Biblical text and voice content via email and SMS.
The content is designed to help us hear/read God’s Word along with short challenging reflections leading to a response to His Word by identifying areas of change in our lives and relationships. Go Tandem can even arrange for a one-time or weekly call to see how we are doing and pray with us!
